About the Journal
Issues of Rehabilitation, Orthopaedics, Neurophysiology and Sport Promotion (IRONS) is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal dedicated to advancing knowledge across the full spectrum of musculoskeletal science and care. The journal covers a uniquely broad field—from fundamental neurophysiology and biomechanics, through musculoskeletal trauma and orthopaedic surgery, to sports medicine, arthritic disease, and comprehensive rehabilitation.
IRONS publishes high-quality original research, clinical studies, systematic reviews, technical reports, and case studies. Our mission is to bridge basic science and clinical practice, promoting evidence-based innovation in the diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and performance of individuals with musculoskeletal conditions. We welcome contributions from clinicians, surgeons, researchers, physiotherapists, neuroscientists, and allied health professionals committed to improving patient outcomes and advancing musculoskeletal health worldwide.
